Woodend is a lovely town located just off the Calder Highway 70 kms North West of Melbourne. It is the ideal town to stop and browse during a drive or to break your trip. It is also easy to visit by train as there are regular services between Melbourne and Bendigo. There are lots of coffee shops, restaurants, antique and second shops, gift and clothing boutiques, specialty shops and of course the Woodend Secondhand Bookshop.

Our bookshop is located handily in the middle of town, just near the clock tower. It is right next door to Schatzi's restaurant, one of Victoria's best eateries. The bookshop was established in 2002 and has grown since then to be able to provide a wide selection for both locals and visitors alike.

Although we are small, we try to cater for all tastes by having a selection ranging from current and popular fiction to Australiana, crime fiction, natural history, gardening, art, military, biography and lots more.
